Abstract

This paper studies the experiences and attitudes of library professionals at Indira Gandhi Memorial Library, University of Hyderabad towards automation and digital library activities. A questionnaire method used to collect the data. The study found that staff involvement with automation is well balanced with all modules of the library software, whereas, limited staff involved with digital library and digitization activities, lack of promotional avenues and health care measures are required more attention, etc.
