Abstract

In the present study Microcontroller based system for glucose monitoring is developed. The output of the conductometric nanosensor is taken as input to the glucose monitoring system. The output of the sensor varies with respect to the variation in glucose concentration. The output of the sensor is amplified by using an amplifier designed using IC 741. Amplified signal is fed to the input port “PORT A” of PIC 16F877 microcontroller. Microcontroller processes and analyses the amplified voltage and the result will be displayed on 16×2 LCD interfaced to it. An LCD displays various glucose concentration based on the condition as LOW, NORMAL, and HIGH.
