Abstract
The present paper explained the concept of H- index its calculations, and publication of University of Mysore. It is explained merits and demerits of H index. The Web of science contains 2959 records of University of Mysore under institutional address search(1999-2014March) . There are 14430 citations. The institutional h index is 40.
