Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out the factors that influenced the job prestige of teachers in Iran. The sample of the study contains 384 people (164 teacher and 309 other persons) in Iran. The questionnaire used in the study developed by researchers and including some important factors in this area. According to analysis of data it was found that there are seven important factors that influence teacher's job prestige. State policies Welfare and Poverty., performance and management of education system. Reforming teacher education and …Increase participation in teacher-up. Increased political participation and cultural community and Increased attention to religious beliefs. The consequences of this study will deliver an opportunity for educators, managers and experts in education around the recent position of teachers in society. Moreover it can be one step ahead to help teachers in deepen their knowledge and awareness of their job prestige.
