Abstract
The title compound systematic name: (pm)-5-({4-2-(5-ethyl-2-pyridinio)-ethoxy]-phenyl}methyl)-thia-zolidine-2,4-dione chlor-ide], Csb 19Hsb 21Nsb 2Osb 3Ssp +⋅Clsp -}}, is an oral antidiabetic agent. In the crystal structure, the mol-ecules are linked by N—-H⋅sCl hydrogen bonds into chains.
