Abstract

The title compound, C4H12N+·C6H5O5S−, also known as ethamsylate, is a mol­ecular salt. Anion-to-anion O—H⋯O hydrogen bonds lead to helices containing C(6) and C(7) chains and further bonds of the same type cross-link the chains. Cation-to-anion N—H⋯O hydrogen bonds complete the structure.
