Abstract

2(LiZnHP2O7) single crystals were synthesized by the hydrothermal technique and characterized by X-ray diffraction method. The compound crystallizes in the orthorhombic space group Pca21 with cell parameters a=13.422(2)Å, b=5.023(9)Å, c=16.053(1)Å, and has a open-framework layered polymeric structure. DTA study indicates that this compound is fairly stable.
