Abstract
The title compound {systematic name: 1-(carboxymethyl)cyclohexyl]methanaminium 2,4,6-trinitrophenolate},C(9)H(18)NO(2)(+)center dot C(6)H(2)N(3)O(7)(-), was synthesized from picric acid and gabapentin. The crystal packing is stabilized by intramolecular N-H center dot center dot center dot O=N and N-H center dot center dot center dot O-Ph hydrogen bonds. An O-H center dot center dot center dot O interaction is also present.
