Abstract

In the present study, the algorithm for dual image encryption using phase manipulation and Latin Square Image has been developed and simulated. Proposed algorithm consists of two stages. In first stage of encryption, phase and magnitudes of two input images (both are of size 256256) interchanged by using Fourier transform. The resultant images are partially encrypted. In second stage, output images of first stage are further encrypted by using a Latin Square Carrier image generated by using 256 bits key to obtain final encrypted image. Output images of the second stage are to be more encrypted and with higher entropy. Decryption operation follows the reverse process of encryption, which results in undistorted images..
