In this paper, the authors have attempted to understand the requirements of the Indian college libraries from the Integrated Library Systems (ILS) products, in general and OSILS in particular. The requirements are analyzed for the housekeeping modules and viability indicators-Technical & Software Service Support requirements, by direct questioning. Later, the requirements are analyzed with the ratings assigned to the OSILS products - Evergreen, Koha, NewGenLib& PMBILS - t each of the modules level and to the overall performance level, by the regression analysis. The requirements of the Indian college libraries are presented as Category Map. The discussions are made on the positions of each of the housekeeping functional modules and viability indicators in the Category Map.
