In this present study an attempt has been made to investigate the influence of social intelligence on teacher effectiveness. A Sample of 100 Secondary school teachers in Mysore city were selected. Social intelligence scale constructed by the researcher, and Kulsum's teacher effectiveness scale were used for collection of data. Descriptive survey method was adopted for this study. Mean, Standard Deviation and �t�-test were used for analysis of the data. The result showed that there is no significant difference between male and female secondary school teachers, and no significant difference was found between secondary school teacher possessing low and high experience with relation to their Social Intelligence and Teacher Effectiveness. No significant relationship was found between Teacher Effectiveness and Social Intelligence of secondary school teachers.
