In the present study, we are reporting the reduction of silver nitrate by using aqueous root extract of Decalepis hamiltonii to synthesize the silver nanoparticles (AgNP’s). The synthesized silver nanoparticles was characterized by UV-VIS spectrophotometer, Scanning electron microscopy(SEM), Atomic force microscopy(AFM), Dynamic light scattering(DLS), elemental analysis, zeta potential(ZP), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR). The invitro antioxidant activity for AgNP’s was carried out by using DPPH, Hydroxyl radical scavenging activity, and total antioxidant activity against BHA as a standard. Antimicrobial activity of AgNP’s was also carried out against E-coli, B subtilis, S flexineri, P aeruginosa by using disc diffusion method. The anticancer & anti-angiogenic effect of silver nanoparticles was evaluated by using Erlich Ascites murine carcinoma model.
