Abstract

In the title compound, C\sb 15H\sb 10Cl\sb 2O, the dihedral angle between the aromatic rings is 5.59(15)\circ and the C—-C=C—-C torsion angle is 177.5(3)\circ. In the crystal, mol\-ecules are linked \it via pairs of C—-H⋅sO hydrogen bonds, forming inversion dimers with \it R\sb 2\sp 2(10) ring motifs.
