Abstract

A sensitive, rapid and simple spectrophotometric method for the determination of microgram quantities of Pd (lI) using phenothiazine and promazine is described. The method is based on the formation of coloured complexes by Pd (lI) with phenothiazine and promazine. The method has been successfufly applied for the determination of palladium in jewellery alloy.
