Abstract

The aspartate-oxoglutarate aminotransferase activity of hemolymph of 3rd and 5th instar silkworm larvae was markedly elevated in polyhedrosis. The alanine-oxoglutarate aminotransferase activity, which was present only in 5th instar larvae, was also markedly elevated in polyhedrosis. Aspartate-pyruvate aminotransferase activity, which was lower than the others, was only marginally increased in polyhedrosis. [on SciFinder(R)]
