Abstract

he QR (Quick Response) codes are two dimensional images which have the potential to revolutionize the way libraries deliver instruction, connect patrons to information about library materials, and market their services. The article is aimed at identifying the key case studies from the available literature and sharing some of them which can be implementable in Indian Library System. This article also describe in detail the process of creating QR code, QR code accessibility, application of QR code in libraries and highlights the new ideas to enhance access to library resources.
