Abstract
In the title molecule, C15H12BrClN2O2, the mean planes of the coplanar 4-chlorophenyl and methylenehydrazide groups are twisted from that of the 2-bromo-5-methoxyphenyl group by 52.3 (2)°. Crystal packing is stabilized by intermolecular N—H⋯O hydrogen bonds between a hydrazide H atom and the carbonyl O atom, which link the molecules into anti-parallel ribbons along the b axis of the unit cell.
