Abstract
In the title molecule, C16H13FO, the planar 4-fluorophenyl and 4-methylphenyl groups are twisted from the prop-2-en-1-one group by 23.6 (6) and 18.9 (2)°, respectively, and by 26.1 (6)° from each other. The crystal packing is stabilized by intermolecular C—H⋯O hydrogen bonding between a 4-methylphenyl hydrogen and the prop-2-en-1-one group, which links the molecules into a chain along the b axis.
