Abstract

The title compound, Csb 16Hsb 18Nsb 2Osb 2, is a key intermediate for the synthesis of biologically active novel heterocycles, it e.g. isoxazolines and isoxazoles. Geometric parameters of the mol-ecule are in the usual ranges. The crystal packing is stabilized by an O-H⋅sN hydrogen bond.
