Abstract

The title compound, Csb 19Hsb 17BrOsb 3S, crystallizes with two mol-ecules in the asymmetric unit. The methyl group of one mol-ecule is disordered approximately equally over two positions. The dihedral angles between the thio-phene and phenyl groups are 68.5(2) and 67.5(2)circ in the two mol-ecules.
