Abstract
The title compound, C\sb 14H\sb 10BrFO, possesses normal geometrical parameters. The dihedral angle between the two ring systems is 71.50(9)\circ. An unusually short inter\-molecular Br⋅sBr contact of 3.4311(5)Å occurs.
