Abstract
A novel model for the determination of precise region of support of a point useful for corner detection is proposed in this paper. The proposed model, unlike other existing models is non-parametric and determines adaptive region of support dynamically. The experimental results reveal that the proposed method outperforms the existing corner detection methods and is invariant to image transformations too. (C) 2003 Pattern Recognition Society.
