Water is the essence of life and human dignity. Water is fundamental to poverty reduction, providing people with elements essential to their growth and development. Water is a precious natural resource and basic need sustaining the life of all living creatures. Today, expansion of agriculture, damming, diversion, over-use, and pollution threaten these irreplaceable resources in many parts of the globe. In terms of availability of water, the position of India is relatively better; the problem of scarcity is not a small one. Everyone wants to help conserve valuable resources. And water is one of the most valuable there is. We couldn't live without it. The present study was carried out to study the sources of drinking water of farmers in study area and to study the water use and water conservation system in study area. The data analysis is carried out by using simple statistical methods like percentage and chi square test.
