Abstract

The mol\-ecules of the title compound, C\sb 14H\sb 11BrO\sb 2S, display some distorted geometrical values that may be ascribed to an H⋅sBr close contact. In the crystal structure, the mol\-ecules form translation-symmetry-generated infinite chains by way of a C—-H⋅sO inter\-action.
