Abstract

In the approximately planar molecule of the title compound, C\sb 15H\sb 10BrNO\sb 3, the dihedral angle between the two benzene rings is 4.97(18)\circ. Inter\-molecular C—-H⋅sO inter\-actions help to form chains of mol\-ecules in the crystal structure.
