Abstract

The aim of signaling pathway impact analysis is to identify significant pathways which are related to a disease. Identification of significant pathways is possible by finding differentially expressed genes, the level of differential expression, as well as the effect of interaction with other genes in the pathway. In this study, we have suggested an approach to improve the output of signaling pathway impact analysis by identifying differentially expressed genes using Significance Analysis of Microarray (SAM) gene selection method.
