Abstract

In the title compound, C\sb 16H\sb 12ClFN\sb 2, the dihedral angle between the quinoline ring system and the flourophenyl ring is 86.70(4)\circ. In the crystal, mol\-ecules are linked into chains along the \it a axis by N—-H⋅sN hydrogen bonds. In addition, C—-H⋅sπ inter\-actions involving the two benzene rings are observed.
