This paper is in two parts. The first part discusses the current scenario in government college libraries and also brings out some of the issues with regard to availability of infrastructure, lack of man power, ICT implementation and others. The second part details the existing problems. It also contains the suggestions, which can be implemented in college libraries for improving the library facilities and services.
