Abstract

Access to information is always an issue among the teachers and students. Library catalogues, bibliographies and indices were the major sources of information for identification of relevant resources. The constraints encountered in physical set-up to access information have limited the use of the resources. The Internet technology evolved over the years, has offered many new technological tools to organize information such as blogs, social bookmarking etc.These tools provided a new platform for both teachers and students to collate, organize and share information. An attempt has been made in the article to share the experience of using a pedagogical social bookmarking tool del.ico.us in teaching.
