A novel series of N'-(substituted benzylidene)-2-(substituted phenyl)acetohydrazide (4a-n) Schiff bases have been synthesised by treatment of Methyl 2-(substituted phenyl)acetohydrazide (3a-d) with few benzaldehyde derivatives. Spectrocopic characterization viz: 1H NMR, 13C NMR, LCMS and elemental analysis of newly synthesised compounds were reported.
