We cannot ignore the fact that education is the most important inputs of development. The overall progress of any country depends on its progress in education. Therefore it is necessary to understand the greater and active participation of parents, teachers and above all the community in the educational process of the society. Interests play an important role in everyone's life because if determine, to a large extent, what one will do and how well he does it. Interest is a learned motive which drives to the person to occupy himself with an activity when he is free to choose what he will do. A whim is a temporary interest, while it lasts, it may be as strong as, or even stronger than, as interest, but because it gives only temporary satisfaction, It wanes in strength very rapidly true interest are more persistent because they satisfy a need in the individual's life. This study aims at finding the Educational Interest of Secondary School students by the influence of different variables like gender and students of Government school. The finding of this study shows that there is no significant difference between educational interest of rural and urban government school students.
