Abstract

The study focuses on the use pattern of Competitive Examination and Career Information Centres (CE&CICs) of the Public Libraries in the state of Karnataka. The researcher has obtained responses from the users pertaining to the use various sources of information. Paper mainly focuses on the use pattern of information sources for taking competitive examinations,gettingplacement opportunities and appearing for national level eligibility tests. The study has also covered region-wiseand qualification-wise responses of members for preparing examinations such as UPSC, KPSC, SSC andUGC-NET and Railway Recruit Board.
