The INDEST-AICTE Consortium provides access to more than 12000 electronic journals made available via twenty four publishers and five bibliographic databases from a number of publishers and aggregators to centrally-funded technical institutions, government and government-aided engineering colleges and private engineering colleges, and other organizations. This article discusses an overview of INDEST-AICTE consortium, highlights the objectives, governance, categories of membership, rules for selection of electronic resources, INDEST-AICTE Consortium resources and services. It briefly touches upon resources license agreement, e-RAMS, implementation strategies adopted by the INDEST-AICTE Consortium and archival access of electronic information resources.
