Abstract

In recent Years the Web has become the most popular media for dissemination of information. Many organisations and institutions have designed their library websites for providing effective information services. But most of the library websites are not updated regularly and at the same time the quality of content and information of the websites are also not up to the mark.In this context, the paper analyses the content of the top 10 Indian University/institute library's websites listed in BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa) in the top 200 universities /institutes.
