Abstract
The title compound, di-(2,7-disubstituted-9-fluorenyl)glutamate, C82H86O12, has been characterized thus: triclinic, P (1) over bar, a = 16.173(5) Angstrom, b = 16.233(5) Angstrom, c = 14.320(5) Angstrom, alpha = 91.124(5)degrees, beta = 105.098(5)degrees, gamma = 92.270(5)degrees, V = 3625(1) Angstrom(3), Z = 2 and F.W. = 1248.54, D-m = 1.125 g cm(-3), D-c=1.169 g cm(-3). F-000 = 1356.00, lambda(Mo-K-alpha) = 0.71069 Angstrom, mu = 0.77 cm(-1), final R1 and omega R2 are 0.094 and 0.28 respectively.
