Abstract

Field experiments were carried out in three kharif seasons from 1997-99 to test the efficacy of talcum powder formulations of Pseudomonas fluorescens and T. harizianum. Among the antagonists p. fluorescens was more effective than the T. harzianum in reducing head mould pathogens incidence in sorghum. Pre- harvest spray of antagonist improved the seed and nutritional qualities, when compared to Bavistin treated and untreated control.
