Abstract
This Article discussing the Indian caste system has followed a hierarchical status to individuals. It is followed as per the Hindu beliefs. Hinduism follows four principal castes traditionally which are divided into various sub categories. The one category of people who do not fall into the caste system are the dalits. They are believed to be members of the lowest rank in the Indian society and and they are facing discrimination in almost every level from medical facilities, education, place of living and even they type of job that they can do.
