Abstract

The title compound was synthesized following classical Hantzsch (dihydro) pyridine synthesis and characterized by the X-ray diffraction method. The compound crystallises in triclinic space group P1. A molecule of dimethylformamide (DMF) is retained with the compound during the crystallization process.
