Abstract

Four series of pyrazole derivs. were synthesized. The first series of pyrazole derivs. were synthesized by the cyclocondensation reaction of oxalyldihydrazide with various nos. of β-diketones in mol. ratio 1:2, resp. The second and third series of pyrazole derivs. were synthesized via cyclocondensation reaction of corresponding pyrazole deriv. with thiourea and urea. While the series of pyrazoles were synthesized via cyclocondensation reaction of malonodihydrazide with the same β-diketones under identical mol. ratio (1:2). The series of tripyrazoles compds. were synthesized by cyclocondensation reaction of the hydrazine hydrate with corresponding pyrazole derivs. in mol. ratio 1:1. Prepd. compds. were evaluated for antioxidative activities. Structure of newly synthesized compds. were confirmed by elemental anal. and spectral IR, 1HNMR, 13CNMR data. The title compds. represent a novel class of antioxidant agents. [on SciFinder(R)]
