A total of 12 species belonging to 6 genera of fungi were isolated from crop fields at Heggadadevana Kote (H.D.Kote) of Mysore District and the study was carried out in agricultural fields of H D Kote taluk of Mysore district, during Jan 2012 to June 2012. The samples were subjected to serial dilution and then inoculated on the Czapek�s Dox Agar and Potato Dextrose Agar medium. The most common among them are : A niger, A terreusA fumigatus, A flavus, R stolanifer, P chrysogenum, P fumiculosum, T viride, T harzianum, F oxysporum, F solani, and C lunata were isolated and characterized. The seasonal variation and percentage frequency of the microflora were statistically analysed.
